Stay tuned to your Radio, TV, Newspaper and of course this Website for events, news and meetings in the very near future.
We have received our Articles of Incorporation for Non-Profit status, and can now accept any and all donations. Please contact our Program Manager, Mr. Dennis S. Lacy on our “Contact Us” tab for more information on just how you can help these young men and women reach for the sky!

NEW NEWS!!! Dennis has aquired hangar space for the program to work out of! We are now located right on the Ferndale Airport in Bigfork, Montana. Our space is over 1000 square feet with a lounge and private bath. The hangar remains cool in the summer and is heated in the winter so it will be comfortable for the young men and women. The airstrip itself is turf and well kept so it will be ideal for testing of our aircraft.
We will schedule a meeting at the new hangar very soon so keep a look out on the calander!!!!

We went to Jim Smith’s hangar and what a treat it was for all of us! I wish to thank Bob LeBlanc and Jim Smith for the opportunity, I know all the kids are very thankful as well! I must admit that for me this was like stepping back in time in some respects. Some of the aircraft at Mr. Smith’s hangar are very, Very, VERY rare. We are blessed to have a man that cares so much about aviation, aircraft and their preservation. Custodianship of WWII and earlier flying works of art – What a privlege.
Get pumped up for our next meeting coming soon. I will post on the calander and contact everyone via phone when we have a date/time set. Until then take care and be safe.

We met at Tom and Barb Hicks home/hangar. (Thanks Tom and Barb :~) Thanks also to EAA chapter 102 president David Schmeeckle for coming and speaking with us as well. We had seven + youths and a few parents come, a great turnout!
Tom is building an experimental kit plane. A CH 701, which is a two place, all aluminum high wing STOL aircraft. Tom and Dave showed the kids around the plane and explained some of the joys of kit building. Thanks again guys!
We discussed our upcoming field trip to see Mr. Jim Smith’s Aviation Museum at Crystal Lakes and hope to go there in late February or March. (Please remember to email us as to any dates that will not work for you – we will go on a Saturday.)
We also discussed the need for a Secretary and hopefully some of the moms will collectively be able to assist. We went over the kids working on a Logo and name for our Aero club.
We are still in need of a larger work space/hangar (approx. 2000 sq. ft.) but will start in Mr. Lacy’s workshop when we get rolling for the time being if needed.
We apoligize if we missed contacting any of you for this last meeting and will call all of you well in advance of our next meeting/field trip to view the Warbirds up North.
As always GOD bless, thank you and be safe out there!
